Dental Care Project

Due to Western influences concerning food and additives in drinks and such, a monster crawls in the mouths of the local children. There, where nearly no serious dental problems arose, now caries and decay  is Lord and master of the caries battle field.

It was high time to intervene and bring in dental support and educate the children on dental hygiene.

To reach these children we need 2 strong 4WD lorries (trucks). Our idea is to transform a former 4-ton truck of the Dutch army.

These vehicles are known to be reliable and exceedingly strong. The required work space already exists and is called in defense terms a “shelter”.

These are relatively easy to adapt to our wishes. The important advantage is that these shelters are removable which gives the vehicles the chance to go into the bush to collect patients for our dental camp.

With only two of these vehicles the whole area is served and the future for very many children will change significantly.
